All-Ways Healing With Horses

Maureen Thompson & Teresa Elvin were introduced to each other in 2007 when Teresa needed a lot of help with her first horse who tended to be pushy and have a mind of his own. It was a fast-developing friendship and with Maureen’s teachings, Teresa quickly learned that working on the ground with horses was a very powerful activity and the work she did with Reo spilled over into her everyday life.

In 2012 Teresa purchased Whispering Woods and knew immediately that this was her and Maureen’s chance to offer equine assisted activities. Maureen and Teresa began providing EAAT and EAL programs to participants on a very small scale in 2016 after becoming certified as Equine Specialists in Mental Health and Learning through Path International. In 2020 they decided to refocus all of their energy in an effort to promote and develop these non-traditional therapy programs on a much larger scale.
